Playground Games are playing a little under the radar with Fable since it was confirmed to be pushed to 2026, and although a confirmed release date for next year has not been announced, speculation is that it could be out in the latter half of the year.

Fable is a long awaited return of a favored RPG fantasy series that completed its original trilogy in 2011. Set in the world of Albion, this medieval themed, open world game features the feeling of a living world, whilst utilizing both hand to hand and magical combat. For those who haven't played the previous iterations, think of Skyrim and The Witcher.

With the rise of the "independent RPG" as I like to call them, whereby you can manage, essentially, the life and decisions of your characters, and play and customize the way you want - Fable is an ideal candidate to stand alongside Monster Hunter Wilds and Baulder's Gate 3 in terms watch and viewer numbers. The smaller number of streams versus the amount of hours watched shows that the gap is there for your stream to fill. Capitalizing on the hype surrounding the game (which is deserved as it will have been 15 years since the last release) and getting your foot in the door early with your content, could be a great way to cement your place on a streaming platform and attract a whole host of new viewers.
