Battlefield is officially back. We partnered with the amazing teams at EA & Wehype to deliver a high octane, challenge filled campaign focused around highlighting classes, game modes & the epic destructible maps players will be able to get their hands on in October. Working with some of the UK's biggest FPS influencers, EA took over Twitch & YouTube gaming. Here's what we did.
EA x Wehype
2025
Step one of every campaign we deliver starts with a branded production package giving creators everything they need for a consistent Battlefield feel throughout the stream. With all new scenes, transitions, alert systems & more, we delivered the backbone of the campaign structured around the awesome creative the Battlefield team created for launch.
Why is high level production important?
Expectations on Twitch have never been higher in terms of production value, and this set the tone for every broadcast in the campaign with every creator showcasing a unified creative front.

One of the core goals for this campaign was to highlight core game elements including classes & game modes. Using an achievement system, we set creators challenges which reflected some of the wider achievements in Battlefield 6.
Why is this important?
Engaging creators is step 2 in all of our campaign thinking. Fun campaigns = more clippable content & gives the broadcast a natural flow, showcasing the game's core features in a natural way.
But what's missing? How could we allow viewers to dictate the stream narrative? Learn more about our dynamic live polling technology below.

Challenges are cool, but what's in it for the audience? The team decided the best route forward was to allow the audience to guide the narrative of the stream through a series of live polls allowing viewers to choose what class & what game mode our creators had to complete next.
How did it work?
Each round one of the options was eliminated, ensuring no votes were duplicated & we had variety in content throughout the stream & that every class & game mode was represented on the creators quest to collect dog tags.

This was a complex setup, & over the past 7 years we've learned that the more weight we can take off creators the better. That's why we developed our own, semi automated production dashboard to allow creators to do what they do best. Make great content.
But what did creators need to do?
All of the graphics & automations are handled in our proprietary back end system. All graphics are provided through one browser source with easy to use, one click triggers to power the mechanics within the overlays.
Choose a poll, choose a challenge type & our system does the rest with only a need to mark a challenge as complete to trigger animations and progress the campaign.
Our chat reading technology knows what the audience wants & it ensures creators deliver content aligned to the goals of the campaign with no need to manage heavy media files or complex setups.

Twitch drops are a feature used to reward viewership with codes. Watch the stream, earn your code & redeem to access the closed beta. But what about YouTube? Without a similar system we had to come up with something unique allowing creators & viewers to get the same benefit on YouTube Gaming.
How did we do it?
Using our production dashboard, we grabbed thousands of codes from Tom & the team at EA. On logging into the dashboard, creators were automatically allocated codes that they could reveal during the stream.
Either on a fixed rotation, or manually triggered, creators delivered codes to their viewers driving traffic from the launch event into the closed beta weekend ensuring servers were stacked.
