Earn More On Twitch With Creator Sponsorships
New In 2026 From Twitch : Creator Sponsorships
Creator Sponsorships
A new and exciting feature has landed on Twitch, and as a Twitch Partner - here is what you need to know!
Twitch Sponsorship Portal grants you access to revenue based opportunities from Sponsors and Advertisers.
What Brands are looking for from your stream:
- Ability to carry out brand messaging
- Knowledgeable creators
- Professional stream channels
So - prepare! Know the brand and the product, conduct yourself in a manner to represent the brand well, and create a professional stream channel with stream overlays and interactive features.
We will take you through the steps you need to get to this point.
Creator Profile
Your creator profile will be another way that brands can reach out to you for opportunities - and just like your streams, communities, and social platforms - you want your Creator Profile to reflect the best of you. Putting time and effort into catering your Creator Profile to reflect your content will pay off.
The Creator Profile, Inside the Sponsorship Portal, will hold a representation of you, and will be where you find any brand invitations.
What to include in the Creator Portal:
- Some short sentences to sell who you are to brands. Include your content, genres, length of time on Twitch, your community, your interests, and make sure you show them who you are.
- Make sure your content is included, including top categories
- Choose featured clips wisely - ones that best reflect community and audience engagement are encouraged because this is what brands will be looking for.
- Be honest about your interests, and what you enjoy.
Twitch have included a great example here.
What Are Campaigns?
First thing - if you accept the campaign you need to follow it through. So, if you say yes, be prepared to deliver. If you don't deliver, this can impact you negatively going forward in regards to pay outs and future invites. You don't have to accept everything you're invited to, so choose well!
Exclusive Campaigns - Only you are invited, limited-time to accept.
Open Invite Campaigns - Large group invited based on a criteria around your content and Creator profile, and do fill up, so act quickly. Pay out is based on views or a fixed flat fee.
You'll received a campaign brief and usually involve a channel skin, a recorded spoken advertisement, discounted subscribers, or all of the above.
Third Party Campaigns are also an offered option.
How To Run A Campaign
Running a campaign involves adding the Sponsorship Tool to your Stream Manager on Desktop - Mobile Users, it won't work for you.
Set the auto-mod to the brand requirements, activate the deliverable on the Sponsorship Tool.
Make sure to check your stream for any competing advertisements if you are doing a reading of a campaign ad. Use a full face camera and hit those talking points!
Be clear on all the deliverables, make sure you complete them, and the campaign will move to the completed section.
Use Disconnection Protection to make sure your stream going offline doesn't reset your deliverables progress, and use Activate Abandon if you miss one.
All of these are clearly available in your Monetization section of Twitch.
Be fully prepared before you go live and you shouldn't have any issues.
Tips For Professional Campaigns
Depending on your content, you may need to make some adjustments for Brand Opportunities. Many Brands are still wary of mature content, swearing and sexual themes - which leaves you with a choice. You can still see opportunities, but you might need to make some adjustments. Things to avoid will be in the Campaign Brief.
Consider the following:
- Voice chats and open voice lobbies - turn them off.
- Avoid foul language.
- Plan your campaign acceptances because you cannot take competing offers within a one week period.
- Check your decor, your clothes, your peripherals and anything else viewable on your stream for competing brands and logos.
- Follow the campaign brief.
Getting Sponsorship Certification
Twitch has a quick questionnaire you can complete to get something extra: Sponsorship Certification.
It is important you read all of the information regarding Creator Sponsorships before you go through the certification process. After you're done here, head on over to Twitch's official blog.
Getting certification will give you an extra edge for searching sponsors - you'll get early access to invites and you'll appear in more searches, so it is well worth taking advantage of.
TL;DR
Creator Sponsorships are a great way to add additional revenue to your stream. Make sure your stream is the best representation of you in your Creator Profile, and add a professional edge to your channel with Twitch overlays that include interactive features.
