How to create engaging Twitch Panels?

How to make your Twitch panels interesting for viewers

What are Twitch Panels?

The first thing you want potential viewers and subscribers to see on your page is:

  1. Amazing content - great gameplay, and engaging and fun entertainment
  2. A high quality stream with high production value stream overlays, Twitch emotes, Twitch scenes, stinger transitions and more.
  3. YOU - whether that be in the form of your camera showing you enjoying your time streaming, or by the stream graphic style you've chosen to represent your personality, or the information that is viewable via your Twitch Panels.

Twitch Panels are one of the first things a viewer will notice upon arriving to your stream, and will help them get to know the streamer better! As well as making sure they are of high production value and visually engaging, you want your Twitch panels to tell them who you are, what your stream is like, and what content to expect from you.

Twitch Panels are customisable Twitch graphics that contain information about you, your social media links, your sponsors, your donation links, schedule, stream rules and more.

How to create engaging Twitch Panels

It's important to get these right, and to routinely update your panels with information as they change over time.

We've provided some topics you can use for your Twitch Panels, and some image examples of the ways to set them up below.

All Twitch Panels from the GETREKT Elements store come with the ability to customize them. Remember, if you don't have a font, there are many available via Google Fonts. Example Twitch Panels below are from our Royale stream pack, inspired by Fortnite.

Twitch Panel Topics

What to include in your Twitch Panels.

Most importantly before we move onto suggested topics for each panel, Twitch Panels should be high quality, correctly sized and use a readable font. More on this later, firstly our suggestions for Twitch Panel topics:

1. Personal Information
Include a brief bio, make it snappy and engaging! Interesting facts about yourself, maybe some humor, your interests, what you play and what to expect from your stream.

2. Schedule
When do you go live? A clear timetable of when you are going to be streaming. We highly, highly recommend being consistent to this timetable, or at least updating it promptly if anything changes.

3. Social Media Links
Add in the links to your social platforms, hyperlinking the panel itself or providing a list.

4. Channel Rules
Keep a detailed set of rules for how you wish your viewers to conduct themselves on your stream. Include any consequential steps if they choose to not follow these rules. In general, a positive and respectful community is wanted.

5. Donation Information and Links
If this is something you are currently accepting, make sure to link this with a panel. Include rules, what the support is for and any other details.

6. FAQs
If you find that the same questions come up again and again, putting an FAQ section can help you avoid having to repeatedly answer.

7. Sponsorship Information and Links
Include any supporting sponsorships you have, many of these requirements will be discussed directly with your sponsor.

8. Appreciation and Thank You
Want to thank a viewer or subscriber, maybe a big donator? This is always a positive way to do that!

9. Subscriber Benefits
Make subscribing to your channel attractive! Show what they will get if they decide to support you.

10. Chat Commands
Having chat commands can make your life and your mods life easier, as this can set up automatic answers in chat for questions. Similar to FAQs.
