What started as playful challenges quickly escalated into fiery moments of endurance, courage and chaos. With Takis bringing their signature punch of flavour and energy, the campaign proved that intensity is best served hot.

Step one of the Summer of Intensity was building a fully branded production package that gave creators everything they needed to carry the Takis identity throughout their streams. From custom scenes and transitions to overlays, the package provided the backbone of the campaign and amplified the bold creative that Takis is known for. High level production was essential, as expectations on Twitch have never been higher. By setting a strong visual tone from the very first broadcast, every creator delivered a unified look and feel that brought the Takis brand of intensity to life.

Mission Briefing

A core goal of the Summer of Intensity was to push creators through escalating challenges built to hit maximum intensity. The achievement system kept streams flowing with high-energy, clippable moments while staying true to the bold Takis brand. With audiences driving the action through live voting, every broadcast became unpredictable, interactive and turned all the way up.

Why is this important?

Step two of our approach focused on keeping creators fully immersed in the action. By designing challenges that were fun to play and entertaining to watch, we created streams packed with spontaneous, shareable moments. The missing piece was audience control. Through our live polling technology, viewers shaped the direction of each broadcast, turning every stream into a truly collective push toward maximum intensity.

Challenges are cool, but what’s in it for the audience?

To truly crank up the intensity, we put control in the hands of the viewers. Through live polls, audiences decided which challenge creators had to take on next, shaping the narrative of the stream in real time and ensuring the energy never dropped.

How did it work?

Each round one option was eliminated, forcing variety and keeping the content fresh. This system guaranteed no repeated challenges, a steady climb in intensity and a broadcast that felt unpredictable, interactive and impossible to look away from.

The GETREKT Production Dashboard

This was a complex setup, so how did we make it easy for creators?

Over the years we’ve learned that the less weight creators carry, the more they can focus on what they do best: making great content. For this campaign we built a semi-automated production dashboard that handled the heavy lifting behind the scenes.

But what did creators need to do?

All graphics and mechanics were delivered through a single browser source with simple one-click triggers. Creators only had to mark challenges as complete, and the system powered the animations, polls and progression automatically. Our chat-reading technology picked up on audience input in real time, ensuring streams stayed aligned with the campaign goals without creators needing to manage complex setups or files.
