We partnered with The Invaders to deliver the interactive stream experience for the 988 Support Marathon 2026, a week long charity event featuring 30 creators streaming in 4 hour relay slots. Alongside a full suite of branded production assets, we built interactive mechanics that challenged creators to complete support focused in game objectives while viewers used chat to influence challenge difficulty, share messages of encouragement and keep 988's mental health resources front and centre throughout the event.

For the 988 Support Marathon 2026, we partnered with The Invaders to create a broadcast package that gave every creator a consistent, welcoming and instantly recognisable identity throughout the week. Featuring branded scenes, transitions, broadcast graphics and custom creator lanyards, every asset was designed to reinforce the festival inspired creative direction while keeping the focus on the campaign's message of support.
A charity stream is about more than raising funds. It needs to create an environment that encourages people to stay, take part and connect with the cause. By giving all 30 creators a shared visual identity and professional production package, every stream felt like part of one larger event, helping the community rally behind 988 throughout the marathon.

To keep viewers actively involved throughout the marathon, we created a custom Support Challenges system built around the roles that often go unnoticed in multiplayer games. Creators were challenged to complete support focused objectives, while viewers could influence the difficulty by posting !988 in chat. The more support the community showed, the easier the next challenge became, reinforcing the campaign's message that support makes a real difference.
Interactive challenges give viewers a reason to do more than watch. By connecting chat participation directly to the creator's experience, every message became part of the stream, encouraging collaboration, increasing engagement and naturally reinforcing the campaign's core message of supporting others.

The 988 Lifeline gave viewers a simple way to take part beyond gameplay. Throughout each stream, the community could submit questions, words of encouragement and inspirational messages, which were then displayed live through custom on stream animations. Alongside this, key 988 information and mental health messaging was surfaced throughout the broadcast, helping keep support and awareness at the heart of every stream.
The strongest charity streams create genuine moments of connection. By giving viewers a voice on screen, the Lifeline transformed chat into part of the experience, encouraging meaningful interaction while naturally reinforcing the campaign's message of support and hope.

Behind the scenes, everything was powered by a custom production dashboard built for creators and moderators. From a single interface, they could manage overlay delivery, read and moderate chat, launch audience votes, deliver support challenges and trigger on stream animations in real time. This gave every creator the tools to run an interactive broadcast without interrupting the flow of the stream.
The best interactive experiences feel effortless for both creators and viewers. By centralising every live mechanic into one easy to use dashboard, creators could focus on entertaining their audience while moderators kept the stream running smoothly and engagement remained high throughout the event.
