Sponsorship Opportunities On Twitch: Creator Profile & StreamElements Partnership

Twitch update offers new ways to gain sponsors

Earn More & Grow Your Twitch Channel

As you grow your Twitch channel and expand your ideas of how to possibly make a viable career or income from your streaming and content through Twitch monetization - using the tools that Twitch provides within your Dashboard is paramount to figuring this out.

Twitch has now unveiled not only the Twitch Creator Profile, that is under the Dashboard heading, but also a way for you to signify to potential sponsors that you are open for collaboration or partnership.

Having support from sponsors is one of the many ways that Twitch can be profitable for growing and established streamers. A partnership with reputable names is one way to increase the professionalism of your stream, as a recognizable name signals to others that your content is something that is taken seriously.

To kick off Twitch's new direction, they have partnered with StreamElements to show sponsorship opportunities directly from the Twitch Creator Dashboard. This feature is available for Twitch Partners now, and access to Affiliates begins on 11th March.

The Creator Profile

The New Twitch Creator Profile is an area to show who you are!

Use the space within the profile to present yourself in a professional manner that showcases your personality, your goals, your stats, interests and any current sponsorships.

Make sure that the information is accurate and represents your channel at its best. This is where potential sponsors and partners are going to look to find the information all in one place.

As revealed by Twitch, this will also have the option in a few weeks to download as an infographic.

Sponsor and account managers have hundreds, if not thousands, of creators who exist in the same space. The Twitch Creator Profile will save them time and let them make easier decisions on who they want to collaborate with. This is good news, as it is possible that this could result in these managers being able to look at more profiles and offer more Twitch sponsorship opportunities - but it also means that it is imperative that your Creator Profile is accurate. Twitch itself has declared working with over 70 brands in their beta program.

New Twitch Partnership with StreamElements

For Partners from now (or Affiliates from the 11th March) you will be able to see the sponsorship offers that StreamElements has partnered with Twitch to bring you.

Head to your sponsorship tab in the Twitch Creator Dashboard and you will be able to see the available StreamElements sponsorships.

To note - Twitch has unveiled that these may be similar to offers you have seen before, if you have worked with StreamElements before.

The goal in mind for how to get Twitch sponsorships with third party companies is to offer a large amount of potential sponsors the same option - to bring the sponsorships directly to you and your Creator Dashboard to apply directly.

At current, when you apply for these Twitch brand deals you will be directed to the company that has put forward the offer and all revenue will be handled via the third party, separate from your Twitch pay out.

So far this new Twitch revenue steam potential has been regarded highly by those who have tried it out, and it is set out to compliment the already established way of gaining sponsorship by creating a newer, simpler, and more direct way of increasing the options of Twitch monetization for your channel.

TLDR;

This is an exciting development for Partners and Affiliates on Twitch - an easy and direct way to have contact with potential sponsors and open up a huge amount of opportunities from your Twitch Creator Dashboard.
